G-Dragon releases preview of his single "Light It Up"

G-Dragon recently released a video where he discusses how the song titled "Light It Up" came to be. He starts off by stating that the track is a hip-hop song that his mentors Tablo and Dok2 are featured in. He then goes on to express how they helped him express in the lyrics what he was trying to convey in the song for the listeners; G-Dragon explains that through his rap lyrics, he is able to explain what are the thoughts in his mind.

On his collaboration with Tablo, G-Dragon goes on to say that he used to listen to Tablo since he was in Epik High. Admitting that he still has a lot to learn from Tablo as a rapper and lyricist, G-Dragon states how he views Tablo as an older brother that treats him well. As for Dok2, despite the fact that he is younger than both G-Dragon and Tablo, he is able to impress GD with his abilities and deeper voice.

"Light It Up" was a collaboration between G-Dragon, Tablo and Dok2 and was arranged and composed by Teddy with the help of G-Dragon, Tablo and Dok2. At the end of the video, a snippet of the song can be heard. It's an upbeat tempo and G-Dragon's fun style can be appreciated.
