SM Entertainment responds to "Lucifer" plagiarism by Serbian singer
We reported that SHINee's hit song "Lucifer" may have been plagiarized by a Serbian singer Jelena Karleusa. SHINee's version came out in the first half of 2010, while Jelena's version "Muskarac koji mrzi zene" was just released.
Fans have been unsure until now whether she received permission to use the melody. However, SM Entertainment has just gotten a wind of the plagiarism and has announced that they will take legal actions against the Serbian singer. There will be a joint response of all composers for "Lucifer", Yoo Young Jin, RYAN JHUN, Adam Kapit, and Bebe Rexha.
This is not the first time that an SM artist's song has been plagiarized. SNSD's hit song "Genie" was also plagiarized by Uzbekistan singer Dineyra called "Raqsga Tushgin" in 2009.

AHAHHAHAHA I'm so glad KarleuĊĦa's screeeeeeewed monumentally. It's christmas here in serbia today, and a hella good one for her too. She deserved what she got, she's a complete bitch, can't sing and all that bleach burned her brains long ago.

Pop music in the Balkans is terrible, even kpop melodies can't help it.
