Invalid characters disqualifies Girls' Generation's text votes for Hyoyeon on MBC "Dancing With The Stars 2"
It has been reported that the text votes for Hyoyeon by the members of Girls' Generation were invalid.
Currently, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon is participating in MBC "Dancing With The Stars - Season 2," in which she has showed off her dancing skills and achieved great success, landing in the finals. The members in Girls' Generation are known to have cheered Hyoyeon on throughout the season, and have even been spotted in the audience during the shows.
At the end of each episodes, the audience and viewers can text their votes to the show, and it is known that Girls' Generation and family have been voting for Hyoyeon.
On July 19th, an official from "Dancing With The Stars - Season 2" reported that
Girls' Generation's votes for Hyoyeon were unfortunately invalid. As per the show's rules, only the name of the competitor and their entry number must be included in the text votes. However, Girls' Generation's votes included invalid characters such as emoticons and small messages.
Hyoyeon said to her members, "I hope next time you can vote and only write 'Hyoyeon,'" but at the same time, expressed her gratitude to them for voting.
Meanwhile, Hyoyeon will participate in the finals on July 20th at 9:55PM KST against actress Choi Yeojin.
