MBC's "Infinity Challenge" rumored to resume broadcasting
Recently there have been rumors that MBC’s variety show “Infinity Challenge” will soon resume broadcasting after a nineteen week hiatus. This long break was caused by a MBC labor strike that drastically decreased variety show viewership, thus leading to the removal of popular shows such as “Infinity Challenge” and “We Got Married” from the air.
Although MBC has yet to confirm that “Infinity Challenge” will resume broadcasting, fans have been speculating that the show will return since other shows that had been removed due to the strike, such as "We Got Married," are also coming back. Furthermore, it has also been rumored that the cast of “Infinity Challenge” will be the hosts for the Korean broadcasting of the 2012 summer Olympics, once more raising fans’ hopes of seeing their favorite show back on air.
