Mnet to launch new K-Pop show titled "JJANG" on August 10th
The Hallyu Wave is quickly spreading around the world and Mnet America is excited to present a new K-Pop show to American fans. Mnet is set to premiere its new show, "Jjang," on August 10th. The goal of the new show is to provide K-Pop fans in America and around the world with current K-Pop news. The show will also provide interviews featuring K-Pop's hottest artists.
"Jjang" will be a 30 minute weekly K-Pop entertainment news program that will be produced by CJ E&M's global contents team and Mnet America. Currently, the show is set to air once a week.
The host of "Jjang" will be Jake Patchett, who is originally from England. His upbeat personality and knowledge of K-Pop will bring the show to a whole new level. The show's co-host will be Hellynn Jung who has lived and worked in Seoul, Korea for the past ten years. She is a radio personality, event planner, business owner, and writer. Her style and knowledge of the country will complement Jake's bright personality. She will do voice overs for a few segments of the show as well as be an onscreen presenter.
