PSY named as one of this year's "Best Dressed" celebrities at the MTV VMAs by Billboard
PSY has been chosen as one of the best dressed celebrities at this year's VMAs.
PSY recently attended the MTV VMAs (Video Music Awards) on September 6th, which aired at 8PM PST and took place at the LA Staples Center. The MTV VMAs is one of the most prestigious events in America, which recognizes some of the world's best music videos. PSY is the first Korean artist to have ever been specially invited to the event, taking up the stage alongside many celebrities.
The Billboard website explored some of the events worst and best dressed celebrities and has named PSY one of their "Best Dressed." They write, ""Gangnam Style" may be a little silly, but there was nothing funny about K-pop star Psy's VMA look. His striped red carpet suit and wing-tipped oxfords made for a classic look. But later, when Psy performed a bit from his signature hit with VMA host Kevin hart, his powder blue blazer and sleek shades showed the fun-loving personality that comes through in his song.
Other celebrities who attended and were named "Best Dressed" by Billboard included Ke$ha, Miley Cirus, The Wanted, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa & Embassy Ross and Rihanna.
Meanwhile, PSY emerged from the stage alongside popular comedian Kevin Hart for the opening stage of the VMAs, both dancing the popular "horse dance." Kevin Hart asked PSY on stage on his feelings about having a 100 million viewed YouTube video, to which the Korean artist humorously replied in Korean, to which Kevin Hart does not understand. He however, shrugs it off and decides he wants to dance some more to "Gangnam Style."
PSY recently signed a contract with Universal Republic Records, to which artists like Justin Bieber is signed under, and is expected to pursue official overseas activities.
