SBS "K-Pop Star" to begin auditioning process for Season 2 next week
Auditions for SBS's talent search show, "K-Pop Star - Season 2" will begin on August 17 in Seoul at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium.

Members of the production crew stated the following, "We expect to see lots of talented participants who might have a better competitive spirit over the season one participants. People who really want to become a singer will appear on the show."
Representatives for SM, YG, and JYP will be searching for rookies and will also joining as jury members in the audition process. Through "K-Pop Star -Season 2," judges are hoping to find the next Park Jimin and Lee Hayi, who placed as first and second place winners respectively last season.
A staff member for the program said, "We are looking for a real star not just an audition star. We will look each participant’s talent, performance, and various abilities as a star."
To further expand the talent search, "K-Pop Star - Season 2" will visit five different locations throughout the world. New York, LA, London, Australia, and Vancouver will be visited after the initial auditions in Korea.
