9MUSES promises to wear swimsuits for a performance if they hit #1

9MUSES held their comeback showcase just recently where they made a promise to fans should their title track “Hurt Locker” hit #1.

Held on July 2nd in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul to commemorate the release of their S/S Edition special summer album,, they share that their new title track “Hurt Locker” is written by the producers behind Girls’ Generation‘s “Genie” and “Catch Me If You Can,” Erik Lidbom, Herbie Crichlow, and Anne Judith Wik.

9MUSES said, “It’s a foreign song. A famous producer helped us work on the song and even the beat sounds like summer. It’s a very very hot summer. The lyrics represent a girl who’s been hurt by getting rejected by a bad man. The song basically says ‘my heart is locked away from you’ hence the name ‘Hurt Locker’.”

The girl group also made a promise, “If we win 1st place we will perform Hurt Locker in swimsuits and beach wear.”

They recently returned with a new summer album just months after returning with two new members in January with Drama.
