CEO Yang Hyun Suk says new Jinusean single is hopeful, but only after BIG BANG’s comeback and iKON’s debut

YG Entertainment‘s CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, has finally spoken up that a new single from Jinusean may be in store for 2015, but it will have to come after BIG BANG‘s comeback and iKON‘s debut!

On January 27th, Yang Hyun Suk told Star News, “To be honest, two months before the Infinity Challenge ‘Saturday Saturday Singers’ (also known as “Totoga”) broadcast even aired, Sean came looking for me with an idea for a Jinusean comeback.

I told him that there were a lot of YG artists that were planning on making comebacks or debuts in 2015 and said that, realistically, it would be difficult to make a Jinusean comeback. However, at the end of the ‘Totoga’ episode last month, he made a shoutout to me asking if I was watching [the show and the fans’ reactions],” CEO Yang continued with a laugh, “Even Jinu showed up and discussed comeback matters with me recently.

Yang Hyun Suk continued to state that after careful considerations, he realized that a comeback for the duo may serve as a reminder that Jinusean was YG Entertainment’s very first successful group. He also stated that not only is Jinusean ready to make a comeback, but their fans have also been longing for one as well.

However, Yang Hyun Suk disclosed to both Star News and OSEN that a mini-album or full album may be too difficult for Jinusean, but a single or two may be a great way for a comeback. Currently, a team is positively looking for new singles to produce for the duo and a comeback may be in store for this new year.

CEO Yang also mentioned to OSEN that, “We are currently focusing with our utmost attention on BIG BANG’s comeback for 2015 as well as iKON’s upcoming debut. Just like we promised to the fans for a comeback and debut, we are putting all of our energy and focus on getting these two teams out as soon as possible. Once we have BIG BANG comeback and iKON debut, we will also release a very hopeful Jinusean comeback.”
