I.O.I dedicates its 1st OST track to “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo”

South Korean girl group I.O.I has released a new track for the SBS drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo.

Singing “I Love You, I Remember You,” this track is the third OST single of the drama’s album. It is an acoustic track containing a sweet melody with lyrics expressing that love transcends time that fits the mood of the television drama’s era perfectly.

The track is produced by Song Dong Woon, also known for his produced OST hit tracks for dramas Pinocchio, Descendants of the Sun, It’s Okay That’s Love and Who Are You — School 2015.

Despite having only just begun airing, Moon  Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is gaining a lot of love especially in China.

YMC Entertainment has reported that I.O.I are also working on their comeback  and are expected to release a new album this October. Since then, the girls have already released their album Chrysalis back in May of this year, and a unit is currently promoting the track “Whatta Ma (Good Man).”

Chrysalis debuted at number four on South Korea’s Gaon Album Chart, and their title track “Dream Girls” debuted at number eight and rose to number seven a week later. Later on, their track “Dream Girls” became the 7th most viewed K-Pop music video in America and 4th worldwide in May.
