EXO to officially enter the Japanese market with a debut by the end of the year

It’s official. The latest reports revealed that EXO will be making their Japanese debut  before the end of the year.

As one of the most popular male idol group in Korea right now with a legion of fans behind them all over the world, EXO’s entrance into the Japanese market is said to be highly anticipated.

According to music officials on August 25th, preparations for EXO’s debut Japanese album is underway, however, the release date has not been set though it is highly possible that they will release it at the end of the year.

Even before their Japanese debut was confirmed, EXO’s dome tour was announced and scheduled for November 6-8th and 13-15th. Having a dome tour is something highly reserved for the most successful artists to perform in due to its large capacity seating with Korean artists such as BoA, TVXQ, JYJ, and BIGBANG one of the few to ever complete Japan Dome Tour. Therefore, performing at the Tokyo Dome is a dream stage for many artists.

EXO’s dome tour brought controversy as the group had technically debuted in Japan yet compared to other senior groups.

But EXO is certainly working their way towards that goal as the EXO Channel was aired in Japan on August 7th and used as a way for their Japanese audience to familiarize themselves with the group.
