Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon reveals she was against “Lion Heart” as a title track

In a recent radio airing, Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon shared her true feelings about the group’s hit title track “Lion Heart,” revealing she initially opposed choosing it as a promotional song.

On September 3rd, she and the rest of the group guested on MBC FM4U‘s Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope where the host Kim Shin Young asked, “Were there anyone opposed to ‘Lion Heart‘?” to which the members Taeyeon and Tiffany both raised their hands.

Yuri and Sooyoung both were for “Lion Heart,” Tiffany mentioning that even SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man had liked the song.

Kim Shin Young asked Taeyeon which songs of Girls’ Generation she liked, to which she answered, “Honestly, there aren’t many I liked,” with Tiffany interrupting that she did enjoy “Twinkle Twinkle,” a track sung by the unit TaeTiSeo.

Taeyeon continued to reveal, “Usually if there’s a song I don’t like, it ends up doing well,” and when Kim Shin Young said, “You didn’t like ‘Gee’?” the kid leader confirmed.
