In early December, it was reported that singer Joanne Lee, simply known by the stage name Joanne in Korea, had suddenly passed away in the United States following a fatal car accident.
A memorial will be held for the late singer in Korea today on December 30th, for close friends and family, as they honor her memory at the Evergreen Presbyterian Church in Jamwon-dong, Seoul between 1PM and 5PM KST.
Joanne made her debut in the country at the age of 13 through her hit single “Sunny Day,” and was also known as the younger sister of TAKE’s Lee Seung Hyun, or Nathan Lee. In hopes of restarting her career in Korea, Joanne made an appearance on Mnet’s Superstar K4 in 2012.
