Miss A Min returns to fans as Geum Jandi in “Boys Over Flowers”

miss A’s Min was selected to play the lead female role in the musical version of Boys Over Flowers.

An insider from the musical theatre industry revealed miss A’s Min will be making her musical debut for the adaptation of beloved Japanese anime, Boys Over Flowers. She will be joining confirmed cast members  VIXX’s Ken and BtoB’s Lee Changsub on this production.

Boys Over Flowers has had tremendous success after being remade into a Japanese drama, Korean television series, and now a musical.

In the musical adaptation, Min will be playing the female lead, Geum Jandi (as in the Korean television series). The musical is believed to adopt the same story line: Geum Jandi transfers to a private school, where she meets the four “Flower Boys (F4)” who come from wealthy families and is eventually involved in a love triangle. Min will adopt the same stubborn, yet strong-willed character as Geum Jandi. She will be playing the role originally played by Goo Hye Sun in the Korean drama broadcast.

The musical Boys Over Flowers will start its run at the Arts Center Grand Theater in Hongik University from February 25 until May 7.
