Philippines DOH removes anti-teen pregnancy ad after accusations of plagiarising f(x)’s “Rum Pum Pum Pum”

After receiving backlash from the netizens for its negative and plagiarized public service announcement on teenage pregnancy in the Philippines, the Department of Health has pulled out the controversial video from their official Facebook page.

On December 3rd, various media outlets in the Philippines reported on the removal of the alleged video on the Department of Health’s Facebook page after it has received criticisms for its inappropriate lyrics and derogatory terms on its public service announcement for teenage pregnancy.

The video has also captured the attention of K-Pop fans in the country and abroad for its similarity to f(x)’s “Rum Pum Pum Pum,” which led fans to accuse the department for plagiarism.

Meanwhile, netizens continued to repost and criticize the plagiarized clip in other video sharing portals, despite its removal from the official page. The Department of Health in the Philippines has not issued a statement on its recent blunder.
