SHINee’s Key kicks off #InstaMyHand trend in Japan

On April 17th, it was reported that a cool photo uploaded by SHINee‘s Key kicked off the latest smartphone fad among teenagers in Japan.

Around a week ago, the artist uploaded an image onto his personal Instagram account that used a special effect to create the illusion that he was in fact holding his Instagram profile page in between his fingers. This little trick has caught on among his Japanese fans who have begun to use this special edit on their own photos.

By simply using a third-party application, many users have been able to share photos not unlike Key’s own. Various users have even taken the liberty to modify his original photo of #InstaMyHand to #TwitterInMyHand.
