LUNAFLY’s Yun joins in Weibo craze with new account
On January 29th, LUNAFLY’s youngest member Yun created a personal Weibo account “LUNAFLY_YUN,” joining in the recent Weibo crazy among K-pop stars. There has been a recent increasing trend for K-pop celebrities to interact with their fans through Weibo, a social networking site mainly aimed at Chinese fans.
A day before, on January 28th, Yun updated his fans that he was in the recording studio through his personal Instagram account, possibly preparing for a comeback or a new cover song.
LUNAFLY had released several covers of songs, as they are renowned to recreate original songs with their own renditions. In January alone, they covered Sam Smith’s “I’m Not The Only One” and Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.”
Yun also confirmed his new account by announcing it on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Other K-pop stars who have created Weibo accounts in the month of January include U-KISS, Sohee, Ji Chang Wook, and more.
