Apink holds commemorative event for Japanese debut single release

Apink held a commemorative event in Nagoya to promote the release of their first Japanese single, and Japanese version of their hit Korean track, “No No No”!

Although Apink is not new to the Japanese stage, this is their first official Japanese single. The single was released on October 22nd and made its debut in fifth place on the Oricon Daily Single chart.

At the event, the girls sang “No No No” and their Korean debut track “My My”. The girls proved to already have a big fan group in Japan as the fans’s chant could be clearly heard, “I love you, Apink, hello”.

Following their performance, they attempted to answer some questions in Japanese, some with ease, and with a translator nearby. To close off the night, they performed an encore of the Japanese version of “No No No”, and waved goodbye to their fans in Nagoya.

Meanwhile, leader Chorong starred in tvN‘s recently finished Plus Nine Boys opposite BTOB‘s Sungjae, while Eunji hosted the “2014 K-POP World Festival in Changwon” with CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk.
