Girl group Melody Day is making a return this month with a new single album, SPEED UP, and has recruited the help of GOT7 member Junior for their music video.
Released on October 2nd, the teaser begins with Junior picking up a magazine named Melody Day as a retro pop dance track begins to play and the girl group shows of their in-sync dance moves.
The music video for “SPEED UP” was directed by Johnny Bros’ Hong Won Ki who is known for his intensely visual projects.
“SPEED UP” also shows off a new side of Melody Day as this is their very first dance single, having released only ballad songs in the past. The teaser has also been released on various Chinese music websites such as Youku, Tudou, iQiyi, and Yinyuetai as they attempt to focus on markets abroad as well.
Their third single album SPEED UP will be released on October 7th.
