Netizens raises the issue of BIGBANG’s unnecessary “mini-concert” at the 2015 Melon Music Awards
With the 2015 MelOn Music Awards finally over, discussion over the successful event has begun with one band of netizens raising the issue of BIGBANG‘s “mini-concert” at the event.
Music awards give the chance to artists to all perform on stage and are usually expected by the audience an fair equal amount of time to show off their hit track(s) of the year.
On online community board Pann, a netizen published a post titled “BIGBANG performing 5 songs is a problem,” and wrote:

The netizen continues to say in their post BIGBANG’s time used to perform five full tracks could have been split with other artists present who also had more than one hit released this year, such as allowing Red Velvet to perform “Ice Cream Cake” and BTS to take the stage with “Dope.” They further note that some of the artists who were given a slightly bigger allotted time performed either a medley or a remix.
Additionally, they point out that despite having released so many new tracks this year, BIGBANG still decided to perform a 2012 track, “Fantastic Baby,” at the MelOn Music Awards.
