TWICE’s Jeongyeon Regains Her Prime After Overcoming Cushing’s Syndrome
TWICE’s Jeongyeon captivated fans’ attention with a more refined and stunning visual.
On the 24th, Jeongyeon shared several photos on her Instagram account. The photos showed Jeongyeon making various expressions in the backstage and waiting room areas.

Jeongyeon exuded a pure and innocent vibe with her subtle brown long hair and see-through bangs style. The sparkling glitter makeup and her sharp facial features completed her doll-like appearance.

The white off-shoulder dress particularly caught the eye. The densely decorated pearl chain details and crystal embellishments on the dress added an elegant atmosphere, while the naturally exposed collarbone line enhanced her feminine charm.

Wearing an earset microphone as she prepared for the stage, she also gave off a professional vibe. In a mirror selfie, she showed contrasting charms with playful expressions and calm eyes.

Previously, Jeongyeon was diagnosed with Cushing’s syndrome, characterized by swelling of the face and body, as a side effect of steroids taken during cervical disc surgery in 2020. Cushing’s syndrome is a condition caused by prolonged exposure to cortisol, and it is known to develop when steroid drugs cause cortisol-like effects externally over time.
Afterward, she appeared to have gained weight, causing concern among fans, but she overcame the side effects and appeared healthy in front of her fans. Since then, through broadcasts and content, she has honestly shared the physical changes and health concerns she experienced during the steroid treatment process, receiving much support.
