Recently, the model published a video on her YouTube channel where her production team asked her about the dating rumors involving her and Chef Son. Yeo responded, stating that she had been meaning to address it, and went ahead with a straightforward answer. She firmly stated, “It’s not true. Absolutely, 100% not true.”

The model clarified that Son Jong Won was just an old acquaintance. She also mentioned that the misunderstanding sprouted from a photo of a dog posted by Chef Son that closely resembled her dog, Raun. According to Yeo, after online posts started speculating on a romance between the two based on this misunderstanding, her previous agency received a flood of phone calls, and even reporters reached out trying to get her personal contact. “I wasn’t actually all that offended by it,” she confessed, adding that she understood the sentiment since Chef Son is very popular.

What frustrated her, however, was online comments criticizing her and questioning her intelligence.

I saw comments on YouTube like, ‘Does this model do nothing but date instead of working?’ or ‘I thought he’d date a smart woman, but he’s dating a total airhead?’—Excuse me? I am smart. The only reason I’m still working in this industry is because I’m smart!

With this blunt reaction, Yeo has put a longstanding rumor between her and Son Jong Won to rest.

Meanwhile, Yeo Yeon Hee became popular after appearing in Season 3 of Korea’s Next Top Model in 2012. She ended up placing third on it. Currently, she is appearing in the tvN styling survival show, Kill It.
