f(x)‘s Amber sat down with Eat Your Kimchi‘s Simon and Martina for an fun interview in the latest video released on March 14th.
During the first video, titled “Our Interview with Amber,” Amber revealed that the track “Beautiful” changed her life. She said, “I felt like I wasn’t good enough, I felt like I was stupid, I felt like ‘why am I so different from people?‘”
However, she overcame her thoughts and realized that she was happy being herself. Amber wanted to send the message that people are beautiful how they are. “Every girl or every guy has their own style and I think there’s beauty in variety,” she said.
Amber also took on the challenge of eating Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans during Eat Your Kimchi’s “Wonderful Treasure Find” segment. Because Amber previously bought wasabi KitKat for Simon and Martina, the two decided that they should gift Amber with Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans.
The three made the game more interesting as they played rock, paper, scissors to see who would win a glass of water for each round. Amber ate flavors such as vomit, earwax, marshmallow, and more while Simon and Martina ate flavors such as grass, rotten egg, watermelon, and more.
Meanwhile, Amber released the lyric video for “Beautiful” on February 9th.
