[★VIDEO] IU releases endearing CF for SONY MDR

On November 28th, MelOn‘s Best Artist of 2014 IU appeared in a short CF for Sony Korea, advertising for their new line of MDR headphones.

The video, which was uploaded by Sony Korea onto their official YouTube channel, was only 33 seconds long, but featured narration and a song by IU herself. The singer showed that despite the large size of the headphones (boasting a 70mm diameter diaphragm, as opposed to the standard 40mm), they were still stylish both when worn on the head or around the neck. In the video, IU displayed the charm and beauty that earned her the title of the “Nation’s Little Sister,” and ended the video with Sony MDR’s motto: Music Deserves Respect.

Yoo Hee Yeol, who appeared alongside IU at Sony Korea’s MDR launch back in October, also made a brief cameo in the CF, where he was seen wearing the MDR headphones while writing a song. The veteran singer recently released his long-awaited 7th album Da Capo, which has been quite a success so far.

IU has also been quite busy lately. The honorary senior police officer appeared as a guest performer at Akdong Musician‘s first national concert tour AKMU Camp, was featured in CFs for both SBENU shoes and Chamisul Soju, and also won the Best Artist of the Year at the 2014 MelOn Music Awards.
