Kangnam goes back to a high school he was expelled from
M.I.B‘s Kangnam will go back to a high school in Hawaii that he was expelled from in an upcoming episode of JTBC I’m Going To School.
According to the JTBC I’m Going To School team, on February 16th, M.I.B‘s Kangnam with Nam Joo Hyuk will spend three days at a high school in Hawaii that Kangnam used to attend.
Since high school winter vacation started in December last year, I’m Going To School stopped shooting for a while. They have shot some episodes, however they need more before the new school semester starts. Therefore, they planned to shoot a new episode in Hawaii where winter vacation is shorter than the schools in Korea. The new episodes shot in Hawaii will be aired in March.
Kangnam is also going to reunite with his former high school teacher who expelled him from school. Moreover, the official bromance couple of I’m Going To School, Kangnam and Nam Joo Hyuk will be going to a school outside of Korea for the first time, raising the expectations of its viewers.
Previously, Kangnam talked about his past on JTBC Salon de Raison, “I was expelled from school many times. I went to 5 schools in Hawaii. The teacher who expelled Eun Ji Won also expelled me.”
