Lee Jung Jae treated one of his fans to lunch after she made a witty comment to him in a viral video last summer.
Last summer in 2013, a video of a fan meet with Lee Jung Jae went viral. In the video the fan is seen pointing at Lee Jung Jae’s face and apparently said, “Oppa you have kim (seaweed) on your face.” Lee Jung Jae then tried to wipe the kim off his face, but the fan then laughed and says “Jal Saeng Kim” (handsome), which made Lee Jung Jae burst into laughter and playfully tap her on the shoulder.
Fast forward to the summer of 2014, Lee Jung Jae had mentioned this incident in an interview with KBS2‘s Entertainment Weekly and had asked the fan to get in contact with his agency because he wanted to see her again. The girl turned out to be a 3rd year high school student, and he treated her to a meal.
Lee Jung Jae stated “I haven’t talked with a high school student in a long time and we talked for over 2 hours. She was very bright and was very mature in her outlook on life. I had a lot of fun.”
Meanwhile, Lee Jung Jae is currently starring in the upcoming movie Big Match alongside BoA, whom he praised highly on her acting skills.
