A wealthy couple in the public eye has attracted a lot of attention for their wedding, which was a bit delayed.
Mario Ho, the son of late billionaire Dr. Stanley Ho, married Ming Xi Mengyao, a supermodel who debuted in the 2011 Givenchy Haute Spring Show. Although the couple made their marriage official seven years ago, they didn’t hold their wedding celebration until recently.
After years of delays, Ho and Ming finally celebrated their wedding with an extravagant ceremony on June 1 at the iconic Mont-Saint-Michel in France. The event was held under the theme “A Promise Fulfilled,” describing their love story.
Although the couple became legally married after Ho proposed in 2019, several factors postponed their formal celebration. Family obligations, the extended mourning period following the death of Ho’s father in 2020, and the births of their two children all contributed to the delay.
For the occasion, Ming wore a bespoke Dior haute couture bridal gown, while Ho chose a traditional black tailcoat. Their children also played special roles in the ceremony, with six-year-old son Ronaldo serving as ring bearer and four-year-old daughter Romee acting as flower girl.
Among the guests was GOT7‘s Jackson Wang, who took part in the wedding party as one of Ho’s groomsmen.
