5 TWICE Members Rumored To Leave JYP Entertainment
With TWICE‘s contract renewals becoming a major topic among fans, multiple members have recently been linked to possible changes in their agency situations.
While there has been no official announcement about the group’s future, reports and fan speculation have placed attention on five members.
1. Jihyo
Jihyo has become the latest TWICE member linked to a possible departure from JYP Entertainment.
According to an exclusive report from Joy News24, Jihyo is reportedly leaning toward leaving JYP Entertainment and establishing her own one-person agency to manage her solo activities.
The report stated that Jihyo has recently been meeting with various entertainment industry officials as she considers her next career step. While details of her potential agency plans have not been confirmed, she is reportedly expected to separate her solo activities from her group promotions.
2. Tzuyu
Tzuyu is currently at the center of the biggest contract speculation.
According to reports from News1, Tzuyu has decided not to renew her exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment after 11 years with the company. JYP has acknowledged that discussions with the members are still ongoing, but no final announcement has been made.
However, reports have stated that Tzuyu is expected to continue participating in TWICE activities even if she does not renew her individual contract with JYP. This would mean she could continue participating in group promotions as an external artist, similar to how some idols at other agencies do.
3. Jeongyeon
Jeongyeon has also been linked to possible agency changes after reports claimed she held a private meeting with Varo Entertainment, the agency of actor Byeon Woo Seok.
The meeting reportedly took place as Jeongyeon considers pursuing acting more seriously and potentially working with an agency that specializes in the field. A Varo Entertainment representative confirmed that a meeting took place, but stated that no contract decision has been made.

Unlike rumors of a possible group departure, speculation about Chaeyoung focuses more on her solo activities. Reports suggest she may be seeking greater creative freedom in areas such as art, fashion, and songwriting.

5. Sana
Unlike the other members, there have been no reports of Sana meeting with other agencies.
The speculation surrounding Sana began after she shared emotional messages with fans on Bubble following TWICE’s world tour. Her comments about feeling she “did well by becoming a member of TWICE” and saying she still loves the group led some fans to worry that she may be preparing for a major change.
The rumors were further fueled after several members became emotional during TWICE’s final Seoul concert. However, there has been no official information suggesting Sana plans to leave JYP Entertainment or TWICE.
