2nd Gen Male Idol Responds Directly After Losing His Girl To Another Idol

2PM‘s Taecyeon had the funniest response after discovering that one of his own fans had apparently been stolen away by another idol.

Following the recent Cass Festival, a fan took to X after watching HyoRiSoo perform and confessed that Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri had unexpectedly left quite the impression on her.

The fan jokingly warned Taecyeon, who was her ultimate bias.

Normally, a post like this would simply remain an inside joke between fans. Unfortunately for her, Taecyeon actually saw it. Rather than defending his position as her bias or letting the betrayal slide, Taecyeon responded directly to the post with just one extremely smug emoji.

The tiny interaction immediately amused fans, especially given the longtime familiarity between idols from 2PM and Girls’ Generation.

Both groups debuted during K-Pop’s second generation and spent years promoting alongside one another, making the idea of Taecyeon suddenly having to compete with Yuri for his own fan particularly hilarious.

The original fan also clearly wasn’t expecting the man she was talking about to actually find the post, turning what began as a casual confession about being bias-wrecked into a direct interaction with her bias.

And judging by his response, Taecyeon doesn’t appear particularly worried about the competition.
