Fans are stunned.

STAYC are back with their new album 2:LOVE, but the comeback has been overshadowed by a jaw-dropping decline in first-day sales figures.

The six-member group managed to sell just 24,233 copies on day one, a number that has left fans stunned when placed next to their previous releases.

Their 2023 single album Teddy Bear moved 186,405 copies in its first day, while TEENFRESH followed close behind at 184,200.

Even further down the discography, WE NEED LOVE hit 115,306, Metamorphic reached 82,394, YOUNG-LUV.COM landed at 78,461, S at 66,596, and I WANT IT at 47,991.

2:LOVE‘s 24,233 represents a near 50% drop from their previous lowest, and a staggering decline from their peak.

Fans have been vocal on X, with many pointing the finger squarely at High Up Entertainment. Many believe the company has not pushed the group in what is now a highly competitive market.

The figures raise serious questions about High Up Entertainment’s strategy for the beloved girl group. STAYC’s talent has never been in question, but without the promotional push to match, even strong releases can get lost in the noise.
