4th Gen Idol Admits To “Severe ADHD” After Being Scolded
Over time, more and more idols have become comfortable discussing their neurodivergence.
Neurodivergent people are medically described as those whose brains develop or function differently for some reason. Several different things, including genetic disorders, injury, or mental health disorders like depression, can cause this. Those who operate typically are called neurotypical.

One type of neurodevelopmental disorder is ADHD, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which is a neurodevelopmental disorder that often causes difficulty concentrating and sitting still, among other issues.
Recently, ITZY‘s Ryujin shared more details about her ADHD.

Previously, Ryujin shared that she has “severe ADHD” during a variety show, explaining ways she attempted to manage the condition.

In a recent series of messages on a fan chatting platform, a fan playfully questioned why Ryujin disappeared when sending messages. Ryujin openly admitted to having severe ADHD and shared that she had been tested and received that result.

Fan: You always disappear in the middle of talking, so I’m just left holding my phone and staring at the chat waiting for you… sigh, uh…[message cut off]
Ryujin: Sorry, my ADHD is pretty severe.
Ryujin: I took a test and it said it was severe.
While Ryujin previously shared her diagnosis, the extra detail that she has been tested made the declaration resonate even more with fans.
