AOA announced on their Official Facebook page that the 7-member group under FNC Entertainment were selected as models for the South Korean mobile RPG game Fantasy Hero.
Appearing in CFs is almost a staple for K-pop idols these days, and is also a good way for lesser-known idols and groups to gain popularity. Rising girl group AOA were recently confirmed as the new face of the mobile RPG game Fantasy Hero. This is not the first CF for an RPG that the girls have done, as they appeared in one for the RPG Tigyuk Tagyuk earlier in the year.
Fantasy Hero is a popular game among males ages 20 to 30, which also happens to be the group that a large portion of AOA fans belong to. The collaboration between the RPG and Ace of Angels feels like a match made in heaven.

AOA has been quite successful this year, with their albums Miniskirt and Short Hair both doing well in 2014. In fact, “Miniskirt” even earned the group their first music show win on the February 9th episode of SBS Inkigayo. AOA most recently debuted in Japan with their single “Miniskirt”, where their album ranked #1 on Oricon Weekly. 2014 really seems to be the year for AOA.
