A beloved Korean actress revealed a memorable pose from a commercial shoot, leaving her in pain for days.
On the 21st, a video titled “Beauty Tips From the Cheongdam Shop Teacher Who Has Done Han Ga In’s Makeup Dor 23 Years (Skincare Method)” was uploaded to the YouTube channel Han Ga In Is Free.
Han Ga In said, “I often see comments saying ‘Her usual makeup is prettier’ or ‘She looks better without makeup’ under various makeup styles I’ve tried, from idol looks to fantasy drama leads and internet celebrities. I thought it would be good to show the makeup and hair I usually wear for my main work, so I prepared two styles: a clean and fresh look without a concept like when filming commercials or dramas, and the most carefully done, stunning makeup for award ceremonies.”
Completing her daily makeup for the commercial shoot, Han Ga In exuded a clean and innocent vibe in an all-white outfit. When the production team asked, “Have you ever done an utterly ridiculous pose in a commercial shoot?” Han Ga-in replied, “There was a pose during a washing machine commercial that wasn’t ridiculous but impossible. I had to bend over with a perfectly straight back to look at the washing machine. Although it looked doable in drawings, it wasn’t for me. My legs hurt so much for two days after. She added with a laugh, “It’s a pose only people who do a lot of yoga can do. After that, I thought I should start yoga.”
