BIGBANG’s Daesung apologized to 2NE1’s Minzy by kneeling before her.
On July 3rd, a video titled “YG Hard Truths. The Blessing of Behind-the-Scenes Stories Never Ends” was uploaded on the YouTube channel ZIP DAESUNG.
In the video, Daesung invited singer Seven and 2NE1 members Sandara Park and Minzy, with whom he once shared the same agency, YG Entertainment, for a candid conversation.
Daesung opened by saying, “There is someone I sincerely want to apologize to,” looking at Minzy.
Previously, Daesung appeared on the YouTube show Psick University’s ‘Narak Quiz Show, and when asked to choose the least necessary member among 2NE1, he mentioned Minzy, which drew criticism from fans.
With genuine remorse, Daesung apologized to Minzy, saying, “I wasn’t in my right mind,” even kneeling in apology.
He also said, “Right after Minzy debuted, didn’t she get the nickname ‘Female Daesung?’ I never mentioned this before, but I have always felt sorry.”
Minzy accepted Daesung’s kneeling apology coolly, saying, “When I first watched the Narak Quiz Show, it felt like I’d been hit on the head with a hammer. It was a heavy feeling.”
She playfully responded, “Who is the most useless member of BIGBANG? It’s Daesung,” bringing laughter.
