BIGBANG’s Shocking Ticket Prices Trigger Fury And Boycott Calls

Netizens are outraged.

BIGBANG is gearing up for their 2026 World Tour stop in Goyang, but the announcement has sparked backlash online after ticket prices left fans questioning their wallets and their loyalty.

The pricing breakdown for the Goyang leg shows Standing VIP seats going for ₩275,000 KRW (about $181 USD), Floor R seats at ₩253,000 KRW (about $166 USD), R seats at ₩242,000 KRW (about $159 USD), Floor S at ₩231,000 KRW (about $152 USD), S seats at ₩198,000 KRW (about $130 USD), and A seats at ₩154,000 KRW (about $101 USD).

These prices are already steep on their own, but it was the wheelchair accessibility seats that truly set fans off.

Wheelchair seats, listed under the R-tier, are priced at ₩242,000 KRW (about $159 USD), putting them among the most expensive options on the chart.

For a group like BIGBANG, whose fanbase has waited through years of hiatuses, the prices feel like a particularly bitter pill.

Korean fans on TheQoo were quick to call it out, with comments piling up over the pricing.

  • “No one should go, please, I’m begging”
  • “They have no conscience”
  • “Why are wheelchair seats that expensive?”
  • “It’s expensive, but is that wheelchair seat price even appropriate? That looks the most shameless to me”
  • “Wow, that’s expensive”
  • “What’s going on with the wheelchair seat price”

Whether the backlash translates into poor sales remains to be seen. BIGBANG still commands a massive following, and demand will likely remain high. But the discourse around accessibility seating, in particular, doesn’t look like it’s dying down anytime soon.
