BLACKPINK member Lisa has become a hot topic on social media after her recent social media update.
Lisa, who is set to make a comeback with her new single, “SaWaDiKa,” has been teasing the release on her social media for a few days. Recently, she posted a longer snippet of the song, revealing some of the lyrics that said, “Hello, Sawadika/ Yeah, you know my wrist is cold/ Got this timepiece from Geneva/ If you know it, then you know/ I’m that bitch on your TV/ In my Ferrari, indigo/ La Lalisa, la diva/ Sawadika there she go.”

The snippet immediately drew in massive pushback for a couple of different reasons. Firstly, some netizens felt that the snippet sounded too similar to “Crank,” a song by American singer-songwriter Slayyyter.

Many also felt that the snippet only reinforced netizens’ previous complaint that Lisa’s music lacked maturity in both sound and lyrics. They felt that Lisa’s solo career needed a better redirecting.
