BTS’s “Dynamite” MV Surpasses 200M Views In Just 4 Days

Group BTS’s new music video “Dynamite” has surpassed 200M views, breaking another record. On August 21 at 1 PM KST, they released their new digital single “Dynamite” and in just four days, hit 200M views on YouTube.

It took them only four days and 12 hours to reach this goal, breaking their previous record with “Boy With Luv” which took 11 days 19 hours and 42 minutes to reach this same goal.

The “Dynamite” music video did not only break their own record, but also set a world record of surpassing 200M views in the shortest time in the history of YouTube music videos.

This video also hit the highest YouTube Premiere music video viewing record ever, also reaching 101.1M views in the first 24 hours.

This makes it their 16th music video to reach over 200M views on YouTube, breaking the record for the highest number from a Korean artist.

They also had all versions of “Dynamite” in the top 10 songs on iTunes, proving their global popularity.

“Dynamite” was released as a way to bring a bit of positive energy to the world during these hard times. This track features a disco pop genre with an addictive melody and fun choreography.

BTS will be performing “Dynamite” for the first time on August 31 at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards.
