EXO-SC Just Set A Brand New Live Broadcast Record On Weibo With The Help Of Fans

They became the first Korean artists to achieve this!

EXO-SC have been making their mark as an unstoppable duo since their unit debut. With EXO-SC dominating charts and making everyone melt with their music, they just set a brand new record with the help of fans that is further proof of their unstoppable power!

To celebrate their first mini-album, What a Life, Sehun and Chanyeol went live on Weibo for 45 minutes on July 25. Through the live, they introduced their album, talked about music, explored their favorite foods, and even played a mini billiard game!

During the broadcast, however, Chanyeol and Sehun quickly set a brand new livestream record! After only 4 minutes, they had already had over 1 million people watching their stream and the number only continued to grow, eventually reaching about 2.12 million!

This number not only meant that EXO-SC became the first Korean artists to surpass 2 million concurrent viewers, but it also marked the highest number of concurrent viewers for Korean artists on Weibo too!

Originally SM Entertainment revealed the numbers with Weibo later confirming the record stating, “Sehun and Chanyeol’s high influence in China has been recertified” and  “EXO, which continues to create history.”

Sehun and Chanyeol’s unit debut, meanwhile, topped iTunes charts around the world, hit no. 1 on China’s QQ Music, and has topped multiple Korean charts as well!
