The recent whereabouts of former NewJeans member Danielle have sparked major reactions amid the ongoing lawsuit against her filed by ADOR.

On July 2, KST, the 31st Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court held the third hearing for the β‚©31.0 billion KRW (about $19.9 million USD) lawsuit against Danielle, her mother, and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. While in court, both sides argued fiercely over the validity of ADOR trying to claim such a huge amount of damage from Danielle alone, the former NewJeans member was spotted elsewhere, far away from the courtroom squabble.

According to eyewitnesses, on the day of the third hearing, Danielle was spotted in Australia, participating in the Gold Coast Marathon.

The fan who spotted Danielle at the event mentioned that she was unwilling to take photos but chatted with them for a while instead. She was apparently wearing a t-shirt of the NewJeans fan running group.

Fans were relieved to see Danielle still being able to enjoy her hobbies despite being entangled in such a massive lawsuit.

Meanwhile, on this day in court, ADOR specified for the first time why Danielle was the only NewJeans member getting sued.
