Former NewJeans’ Danielle Directly Refutes Claims Regarding Dual Contract
Former NewJeans member Danielle’s legal representative, Hwawoo, released an official statement regarding the July 2 hearing date.
The statement refuted the claims stating she had signed dual contracts.
Position on media reports regarding ADOR’s defense
- After the trial on July 2, 2026, some media outlets distorted the information, referring to the Chinese capital, claiming that Danielle had signed a dual contract with an external company or had tried to hide it.
- This is a distortion of the normal process for a third party to deliver a proposal to sell ADOR shares to HYBE during the 2025 NewJeans dispute, mixed with false information. There is no truth to the claim that the members, including Danielle, had entered into or attempted to sign a dual exclusive contract with any specific company.
- The claims made by ADOR’s legal representatives on the day of the trial, including the previously mentioned news report, differ from the facts or distort or exaggerate the facts.
- Danielle’s team suspects that ADOR’s influence may have been involved in spreading and distorting the facts of the case, especially in matters involving the members, as if they were all independent actions of Danielle.
- None of ADOR’s arguments is new, and we expect the court to make an accurate judgment based on the evidence.
- Danielle’s legal team plans to request the court to take necessary measures to counterattack ADOR’s attempts to influence the trial through public opinion.
