(G)I-DLE Minnie’s Humble Flex Leaves Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon flabbergasted

(G)I-DLE‘s Minnie recently shared a next-level flex story in a YouTube video.

On January 22, KST, Minnie appeared as a guest on Girl’s Generation member Hyoyeon‘s YouTube channel, Hyo’s Level Up. During their conversation, when Hyoyeon asked Minnie about her large friend group, she responded by saying that she had about eighteen close friends but in Thailand.
Hyoyeon then got curious if Minnie always paid for everything when she hung out with friends, to which she replied that they don’t always let her pay despite her sneaky attempts. “They always want to split everything,” she added.
But there is one place where Minnie gets to flex her young-and-rich status with her friends, and that’s at her own concert. The singer shared that she invited eighty of her friends at (G)I-DLE’s Thailand concert the year before last year. While Hyoyeon looked perplexed at the number, Minnie added that last year she had invited a whopping 100 people to her concert.
Hyoyeon couldn’t help asking if her company paid for all the tickets, but Minnie responded by saying that each (G)I-DLE member gets only four paid tickets from Cube Entertainment. So she ended up paying for all her friends’ tickets. “Honestly, we do concerts to earn money. But I spent all the money there,” she joked, adding that she spent about ₩10.0 million KRW (about $6,960 USD) to get those seats for her friends!
Hyoyeon acknowledged Minnie’s generosity, remarking, “How nice to have someone that caring,” but the singer humbly mentioned, “It only happens once a year.”
Minnie has undeniably set a new standard for bestie goals!
