Girl Group Idol Shocks With Her Condition Right After Giving Birth

A K-Pop girl group member shared the changes in her body and her honest feelings after giving birth to twins.

Recently, a video with the caption, “The reality after giving birth to twins…! I thought my belly would naturally shrink somewhat once the twins left the room, haha,” was posted on Crayon Pop Choa‘s Instagram account.

The video showed Choa on her fifth day postpartum. She caught attention by writing, “Why does my belly look the same on the fifth day after giving birth to twins? The twins have definitely left the room and I’ve lost weight.”

She continued, “After giving birth, I was shocked because my belly didn’t shrink as much as I expected… Even when I stayed at the postpartum care center, I worried and felt down thinking my belly might never go back to normal, sigh.”

Choa revealed her feelings of depression caused by changes in her body shape after childbirth.

She also explained, “Honestly, since I was expecting twins, I anticipated my belly would get much larger than others, so before giving birth, I looked for many ways to support my belly! But the more I learned, the more I realized that managing your belly line after birth isn’t just about holding the belly in. When pregnant, it’s natural for the belly to grow, and during that process, abdominal muscles stretch, the rib cage naturally widens, and even breathing methods and posture can change. So after giving birth, managing your body’s line involves not just the belly but also the rib cage, breathing, posture, and core muscle balance for proper care.”

Afterward, Choa began managing her figure using a support belt. She shared, “Definitely, not only does it help shape the belly line, but it also elastically supports the widened rib cage, and the more I wear it, the more satisfied I become! My younger sibling saw me and was surprised, asking if I really just gave birth recently because my belly shrank so fast, which made me proud, haha.

Choa debuted with Crayon Pop in 2012 and got married in 2021. She received many congratulations after giving birth to twin boys this February.
