One fan, however, claimed that they have been blocked by Go Min Si herself after leaving their own comment under the newly updated photo. In a screenshot shared by the fan, now viral online, it shows that Go Min Si’s Instagram has no posts to show—a telltale sign that access has been blocked.

The fan noted that they didn’t really do anything wrong, except ask the actress if she has seen any progress in regards to the investigation.

I saw that Go Min Si had just uploaded a photo of flowers on her Instagram and it made me think if she won her case. So I left a comment asking, ‘Unnie, did the investigation go well?’ I wasn’t trying to troll her or anything… I mean, I’m one of her fans who would love to see her come back if she really didn’t do anything wrong. I’ve always liked her as an actress, too… You can even see the positive comments I’ve left for her. But I guess my question felt like I was trying to start sh*t with her? It does look like I got blocked, right?

— Go Min Si’s “Fan”

Following the fan’s claim of getting blocked by Go Min Si, netizens are now split about who is “in the wrong.” Some believe the actress shouldn’t have gotten so easily triggered to block her own fan…

  • “They might not have been a full-fledged fan, but it looks like they were supportive of her in general. Did she really have to go as far as blocking them?”
  • “Well, Go Min Si can’t see what kind of comments that ‘fan’ is going around and leaving. So, just based on the comment they left for her, they do sound like a troll. Why wouldn’t she block them?”
  • “The ‘fan’ left ONE positive comment about Go Min Si and is now saying they’re her fan… I find that hilarious.”
  • “What, so fans can’t even ask about what’s going on with her case? The comment must have rubbed her in all the wrong ways, huh?”
  • “I’d block them too, honestly. Blocking is up to her.”
  • “Even if their intention was to troll her, she shouldn’t have blocked them flat out like that. Her case is highly publicized and she, too, said herself that she would reflect on what she did. To get pressed over a little comment like that is just LOL.”

…while others commented that the so-called fan’s behavior was “trolling” and questioned if they’re even truly supportive of Go Min Si in the first place.

  • “She’s gonna get carpal tunnel from her Instagram addiction.”
  • “Like celebrity, like fan, IMO.”
  • “Blocking them was meh, but I also highly doubt they were actually her fan.”
  • “Doesn’t even seem like a fan to me… They probably thought them getting blocked was the perfect gossip and started posting everywhere LOL. Like they genuinely sound kind of excited this happened to them.”
  • “If the verdict had come out, everyone would already know. What kind of ‘fan’ brings up such a sensitive issue first? LOL that’s definitely not a real fan.”
  • “Blocking them wasn’t a great move… But if they were truly a fan, they wouldn’t have asked that kind of question.”
