Golden Child’s Joochan To Temporarily Halt Promotions Due To Leg Injury

Golden Child‘s Joochan will temporarily be halting promotions with the idol group due to his leg injury.

Woolim Entertainment released a statement on the morning of December 28 explaining the situation:

“During a recent choreography practice session, Hong Joochan sprained his left leg and visited the hospital. He suffered an injury to his knee ligament and is therefore, currently receiving treatment and taking rest.”

The agency then proceeded to state that he will temporarily be halting promotions with the group to focus on fully recovering his health.

“Our company prioritizes our artists’ health over anything else and after discussing with the artist, his family and the medical staff, we have decided to temporarily halt his promotions with the group. As a result, Hong Joochan will unfortunately not be participating in any schedules including the year-end schedules that were previously planned. According to the doctor’s recommendation, he will be focusing on treatment and recovery for the time being.”
