IU Apologizes After Mentioning Wanna One Kang Daniel’s Name
On a recent episode of IU TV, IU apologized to Wanna One fans after accidentally mentioning Kang Daniel’s name.
While waiting for their shoot, IU complimented her manager by saying that he looks like an idol.
“Oppa, you look like an idol.”

Then another staff member asked IU, “Who did you say his hairstyle looked like?”
When IU couldn’t recall, her manager stated, “Kang Daniel!”
Surprised by his answer, IU immediately asked the filming staff to edit out the footage and apologized. The other staff member joined in and asked for forgiveness as well.
“Please edit out this part. I beg you.”

She made an apology on behalf of all of her staff and explained that her manager was a good person.
“Our oppa (manager) is a kind person. I’m very sorry. I’ll apologize on behalf of all of us.”

She then ran over to her manager and made him apologize right away as well.
“Hurry up and apologize! He’s a good person. We’re very sorry. It was a mistake, we’re sorry. It won’t happen again.”

IU’s manager added that he loves Wanna One as well as Kang Daniel.
“I love Wanna One. And I like Kang Daniel very much.”
