KBS Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook Releases An Apology To Brave Girls For A Rude Question
The team behind Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘s YouTube contents has recently apologized for their lack of consideration towards Brave Girls. The show has been uploading behind-the-scenes content under the name Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook Without Yoo Hee Yeol. A recent episode with a Q&A segment came under fire when a rude question was asked to Brave Girls.
Yuna was asked if she herself thought that she was an ahjumma, as she is nearing 30 years old.
Although she laughed it off and answered it positively, fans were outraged at the production team for letting such a question pass through. KBS soon released an official apology for the matter. They have promised to be more cautious in the future.
The full apology can be read below.
This is the YouTube contents team for Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook Without Yoo Hee Yeol (shortened to YSW). We wish to apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable at the YouTube contents for YSW regarding Brave Girls.
For the contents, the format was where we received questions through Instagram for points about Brave Girls which people were curious about. The members then read them out at random.
However, due to the inexperience of the producers, we ended up uploading the video containing an uncomfortable question, disappointing the many that have been loving and supporting Brave Girls.
We are really sorry about causing discomfort through YouTube contents that was originally meant to bring joy to many.
The team will be more alert and take more caution in the production of our contents. We wish to once again apologize sincerely to everyone that loves Brave Girls as well as YSW.
