Korean Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists accepts apology from YG Entertainment, Mnet, and WINNER’s Mino

The Korean Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (KAOG) has formally accepted the apology from YG Entertainment, Mnet, and WINNER’s Mino

Having demanded a public apology from the rapper for Mino’s deregatory remarks against women and making a comment against gynaecologists on his lyrics for Show Me The Money 4, YG Entertainment, along with Mino and Mnet, formally sent their apology towards the organisation. The formal apology was received by the Korean Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists on July 14th where Mnet acknowledged the responsibility for the airing of the episode and promised to apologise personally.

YG Entertainment also rang the association to check necessary measures needed to be taken following the incident. It was also acknowledged that they have received Mino’s statement, which was similar to what he posted on WINNER’s official Facebook page yesterday.

As they have felt that the apology was sincere, the association felt that it was necessary to accept it. Furthermore, they hope that Korean women will also have the same manner of apology that they have received.

WINNER’s Mino was recently under scrutiny for the lyrics used during the recent episode of Show Me The Money 4.
