A Korean star couple has announced their upcoming marriage, earning many congratulations and well wishes from friends and netizens.
On August 4th, an announcement was posted on Instagram, saying, “I will marry the person I want to spend my life with on August 8,” by Kim Tae Oh.
He expressed, “I wanted to tell the people who have watched over actor Kim Tae Oh for a long time myself. I’m still clumsy and have a lot to learn, but it feels really reassuring and grateful that I now have someone to walk with, not alone.”
On the same day, bride-to-be Kim Ee Hoo also announced the marriage news. She said, “I am happy to share with all the precious people who have always watched over me with affection that I found a strong partner to walk with in the future.”
She vowed, “We will stand together on the stage of the long performance called life and shine by supporting each other.” She also shared, “In preparing for the wedding, I looked back on all my moments where I had the endless support and overwhelming love from everyone. I sincerely bow my head in gratitude for the love sent and will work harder to become a good person and good actress who can return the love I received.”
The two reportedly met while starring together in the musical Grease in 2019. Their relationship developed into romance and has now culminated in marriage after about six years.
Born in 1992, Kim Tae Oh debuted in the musical Tobacco Shop Girl in 2016. He has been active in various productions including Phantom Singer, Grease, Smoke, Mamma Mia!, and Another Country, and also performed as a member of the group T-Bird, derived from Grease.
Born in 1993, Kim Ee Hoo debuted in 2017 with Bare: A Pop Opera. She has since appeared in many musical stages and was also active as a member of Pink Lady, a group formed from Grease.
