LE SSERAFIM Slammed Over Their “Embarrassing” Live Performance
HYBE girl group LE SSERAFIM has found itself in yet another controversy over a live performance.
The girl group recently faced scathing ridicule online after clips went viral, allegedly showing that their entire set at the Summer Sonic Festival 2026 was pre-recorded. However, many fans pushed back against this narrative, providing videos from the actual venue.
However, the same controversy has found its way to them yet again after a concert video resurfaced on social media and went viral. The clip, which appears to be from last month, when LE SSERAFIM kicked off their PUREFLOW world tour, shows the members sitting and singing “Sonder,” a slower song from their discography.
Though each member’s vocals sounded completely live, when Sakura missed her cue, her voice kept playing at the same volume, with the same live-sounding effect. Members Chaewon and Eunchae, who were sitting beside her, looked flustered, but the show went on.

This particular clip has now racked up over 9 million views on social media, sparking heated discourse about LE SSERAFIM’s repeated use of live AR for performances, even when no intense choreography is involved. Many pointed fingers at their label for “setting up” the group, while others felt that the members also needed to take some accountability.
