Lee Joon Gi Reveals What Motivated Him To Quit Eating His Favorite Food For 4 Years

It all started back in 2015.

Actor, Lee Joon Gi recently held a live broadcast on his official Instagram account where he shared a personal story about what got him to change his diet in a drastic way.

During a chat with fans, one fan asked Lee Joon Gi if he wanted to eat ramen, but his answer was unexpected.

It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten ramen.

Lee Joon Gi confessed that he absolutely loves spicy ramen, but that now if he really craves it, he replaces the noodles with konjac noodles.

I completely quit eating flour-based foods.

That’s not all.

Lee Joon Gi also stopped eating rice and limited his carbohydrate intake, and it all started when he got injured while filming MBC‘s Scholar Who Walks the Night in 2015.

I injured my hamstring and nose, and my back and neck weren’t doing so well either. That’s when I decided to start taking better care of my body.

Lee Joon Gi has been on this new diet for 4 years now, but he revealed that he still gains weight regardless.

I gain weight again even if I eat this way.
